1) Features from "State Roads" feature class (Feature dataset = roads.GISADMIN.TRANSPORTATION; Feature class = roads.GISADMIN.RDCLINE) were selected for each respective corridor one segment at a time. If part of a segment was not included in the "State Roads" feature class, it was added through editing, snapping to the "Municipal Roads" feature class (Feature dataset = roads.GISADMIN.TRANSPORTATION; Feature class = roads.GISADMIN.RDCLINE) Road segment features comprising a corridor segment were exported to the folder S:\TRANS\JONES\Summer Intern Projects\PMcKinney2011\Congestion Management Process\SHPs\CMP_Corridor_Edits\Segments with the following naming convention: [Corridor Number]_[Corridor Name]_[Segment Letter].
2) Each multi-part corridor segment was dissolved to create a single-feature corridor segment. These dataset are stored in the following folder S:\TRANS\JONES\Summer Intern Projects\PMcKinney2011\Congestion Management Process\SHPs\CMP_Corridor_Edits\Dissolved_Segments. The following naming convention was utilized: Dissolved_[Corridor Number]_[Corridor Name]_[Segment Letter].
3) The dissolved segment datasets for each corridor were merged to create the individual dataset for each corridor. These are stored in the following folder S:\TRANS\JONES\Summer Intern Projects\PMcKinney2011\Congestion Management Process\SHPs\Individual_Corridors. The naming convention included the state route number and/or road names, if applicable. 4) The individual corridor datasets were merged to create the "CMP_Corridors" dataset. </procdesc>
